We met the two as best friends and found family members in Season 1, and saw their relationship perhaps irrevocably broken when Naomi gave Fred Johnson and the Belters the protomolecule at the end of Season 2.
The relationship between The Expanse‘s Amos and Naomi is one of the most compelling on the show.
